While the six Great Families dominate Komaran politics, many minor noble families also play a role in the kingdom's history. Some of the families were once great houses that have fallen to the ravages of time. Others are satellite lines of the Great Families, created to reward the effort of a dedicated servant or fulfill the requirements of a political pact. Minor families of note include:
